Invite your friends to join in on the good times.
Today, we’re talking design and UX (or user experience).
Both tools should give you lots of tips and inspiration for whatever you’re working on at the moment.
Growth.Design Case Studies
Tool type: website
Growth.Design sells courses and provides advice to help you create better online processes.
While their courses cost money, they regularly drop these epic case studies that I think you’re going to love.
They are — as you can imagine — expertly designed and masterfully laid out.
They are also chock full of amazing advice and tidbits.
I just read their takedown of the beehiiv newsletter upsell and it was great.
You can use the arrows on the screen, or your keyboard arrows, to navigate through the case studies.
They are funny and irreverent, but also jam-packed with helpful psychology and design tips and concepts.
They’ll tell you what the problem is, and then show you what the solution should look like.
Because highlighting an issue is one thing. Designing a solution is something else altogether.
Here’s an example:
They signed up for a newsletter. They then got hit with a premium upsell:
Which they hated.
They explain why they hated it in GREAT detail.
And most would leave it there.
But not these guys.
No, they go the extra mile.
So instead of complaining about all the issues, they show us what the page should look like:
MUCH BETTER!
See the full case study here.
And then see all of their other case studies here.
They have loads!
FREE or FREEmium: FREE
They typically ask for a share. And they sometimes mention their courses. But a small price to pay to see how the pros audit the digital processes of household name brands.
Godly
Tool type: website
Godly is a swipe file.
It’s a place to go and get inspiration for your own design work.
They describe the site as “Astronomically good web design inspiration from all over the internet.”
And it does not disappoint.
They all have movement, so it’s a bit hard to screenshot. But here’s an example:
They share fun and interesting sites in video form, and then you can click through to see them in great detail.
That’s it.
Simple.
But beautiful and inspiring.
FREE or FREEmium: FREE
This is an awesome example of an agency that gets content marketing. It’s run by a firm that offers “unlimited design.” If you like great design, I’m sure they can help. But in the meantime, you can just check out their professionally curated sites at your pace. Enjoy!
Are you inspired?
Ready to rebuild… everything… from scratch?
Hell yeah!
That’s what we’re talking about.
Hit me up if I can help in any way. Or just to say hey!
See you in a fortnight!
