2 Free Digital Tools To Check Out in Mailbrew
This free digital tools lets your news come to you!
Hey there!
Everything moves fast. There’s more content to consume then there are hours in the day.
Mailbrew can help!
One of our first newsletters covered Mailbrew. You can find that write up here.
But we’ve grown a lot since then. And Mailbrew remains a powerful tool in my digital toolkit.
So I wanted to give a slightly deeper dive into how I use this awesome free digital tool.
Know anyone who might appreciate what we’re doing here? Invite them to join us! As you know, we’re all really nice, and cool, and we all LOVE free digital tools!
Let’s dig in.
Mailbrew’s Daily Email
Tool type: Email
Mailbrew is kind of a magical tool.
They used to have a paid version, but they haven’t for years. Not really sure what their business model is, but I love this tool and would absolutely pay for it if I had to.
It’s super simple.
Head to app.mailbrew.com and sign up.
Then pick which sources you want them to pull content from and what time you want to get your daily email.
Then they pull said content and send you a daily email with whatever you asked for.
For me, I get the weather (not necessary, but why not) and then top posts for numerous subreddits.
That’s right — I get all of the value of Reddit, delivered every morning in my inbox, without having to spend all day refreshing all my subreddits.
I get top stories from my local subreddits, and then anytime I’m working a campaign out-of-state (which is often!), I add those into the mix as well.
All the magic of Reddit, without having to spend hours a day poking around.
You used to be able to get top tweets from specific accounts, but those went away when Elon jacked up the API cost for developers.
I pretty much just use Mailbrew for subreddits, but here are the sources you can pull from:
I will say I’ve found some of these work better than others. But Reddit works consistently!
FREE or FREEmium: FREE
Totally free. Like I said, they use to offer a paid version — but they haven’t in years. Enjoy!
Mailbrew Newsletters
Tool type: Platform
I will caveat by saying I do not use this feature, and never have. But I could see how this might be very valuable for some, and think it’s worth sharing.
Along with getting a daily email from Mailbrew pulling content from all of your sources, you can also redirect all of your newsletters directly to them, instead of to your inbox.
Then, you can read all those newsletters right in Mailbrew, instead of letting them clog up your inbox.
I have a different system for keeping my inbox ordered. I wrote up my process here.
But if you prefer having access to your newsletters outside your inbox altogether, then Mailbrew has you covered.
FREE or FREEmium: FREE
Also free.
Hope these two tools are helpful.
Like I said, I LOVE this free digital tool.
If you like Free Digital Tools, you probably know others who will too. Invite them to join us. They’ll appreciate it… as will I! When you refer friends, you can also win free stuff!!
I’ve been dropping lots of content on my YouTube channel recently, including a video version of a blog post I wrote about the difference between Zohran’s and Cuomo’s (find the blog, with the accompanying video, here) and a new ep of Hello Merge Tag where I checked in with the founder of BattlegroundAI about the work she’s doing helping campaigns take their digital ad programs to the next level.
Check it out.
See you in a fortnight.
